Duane is a born and raised Albertan. He grew up in Cochrane and still loves living there today. Duane has worked with RBC approaching 20 years in various roles becoming an Investment Advisor with RBC Dominion Securities in 2008. He is an active member of the community and has enjoyed sitting on several Boards and has sponsored the Annual Lions Rodeo for many years.
During his time away he enjoys adventuring in the mountains, traveling to find new experiences and enjoying the great food that can be found in the most unexpected places.
Duane has developed relationships with business owners, farm families and people serious about their financial future. He gains the most satisfaction when he sees the people he is working with achieve goals for their entire family spanning multiple generations. This is achieved by reviewing tax, retirement and estate planning objectives. Providing advice for today, income for the future and working diligently to reach estate planning goals for the family is what Duane sets out to achieve with each family he works with.
Professionally he has obtained the Certified Financial Planner designation and has been in good standing since 2003. He specializes in complex wealth management planning for families by working with their lawyers and accountants to ensure their financial goals are being achieved.
