Devin began his career with RBC in Kelowna, British Columbia, in 2003. He advanced his career east to Calgary and joined RBC Dominion Securities as an Associate Advisor in 2007. In January 2009, Devin was promoted to Investment Advisor and soon after was awarded the prestigious Donald J. Langill Memorial Award. He was named the President of our firm’s President’s Club in 2012. Today, as a Vice-President & Portfolio Manager, Devin offers his clients RBC Dominion Securities’ premium advisor-managed portfolio service – Private Investment Management.
Devin majored in finance and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (BBA) from Okanagan University College in 2004. He went on to achieve the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2006 and later the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designations. In 2011, Devin achieved the recognition of Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) – the highest honour in our industry. Over his career, he has felt truly honoured to work alongside some of the best wealth management professionals in Canada. His time within RBC has resulted in the establishment of a strong network of experienced professionals within the organization and the community.
When he is not working, Devin and his wife, Andrea, are pursuing their desire to travel the world with over 40 countries visited so far. An avid wine collector, Devin completed levels two and three at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and is continually furthering his knowledge and appreciation for wine and the culinary arts.
