Derrick Wilson has been providing investment and financial planning strategies to his clients since entering the investment industry in 1987. Derrick obtained his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Dalhousie University, and has acquired both the Chartered Financial Planner and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations. In addition, Derrick was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of Institute of Canadian Bankers (FICB) designation and more recently, the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation. In 2006, Derrick received the Donald J. Langill Memorial Award, which is awarded to one Investment Advisor from across Canada each year who achieves the highest standards of quality of business and community involvement. Derrick is also an active volunteer with various organizations. Derrick has been an active volunteer in the community volunteering with organizations such as the Calgary Food Bank, the Mustard Seed Homeless Organization, Calgary Drop-In Centre, Habitat for Humanity, and is the Past President of the Bow Ridge Little League Baseball Association.
