David joined RBC Dominion Securities in 1987, and has built one of the leading wealth management practices in the country through his deep ambition to help others reach their retirement and estate planning goals. He was appointed Vice President in 1994, Director in 2006, and was a member of the firm’s Private Client Advisory Board from 1997-2000. David became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder in 1993.
David builds and manages customized portfolios for individual investors, families, corporations, pension funds and institutional foundations in both a discretionary and non-discretionary manner. He believes that what clients appreciate most is his sincere interest in all aspects of their planning and investment goals. They value that he prioritizes their understanding of investment planning and strategy so that they are confident in their portfolio.
Outside of the office, David loves to sail. He competed on the National Sailing Team in the 1980s and, after a hiatus, began sailing locally and internationally again in 2008. He enjoys supporting the sport in his community and is a board member of Sail/Voile New Brunswick. David also enjoys spending time with his wife, Miriam, as well as traveling and golfing.
