Dann Cushing brings over 15 years of global markets and private equity experience to his role managing wealth for affluent families. Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, Dann managed investments for a major global investment dealer in New York, and subsequently for the Canadian division of Switzerland’s largest bank. In conjunction with this work, he advised his firms’ largest global pension fund and hedge fund clients on their investment strategies. In 2007, Dann was recognized for his influence in the Canadian equities market as the recipient of the Toronto Stock Exchange’s Top Trader Award. Most recently, Dann was the founder and CEO of Liquidity Source Inc., a private equity firm that advised clients investing in shares of select, private Canadian energy companies. The firm completed over $250mm of transactions for private investors, family offices, and institutional fund managers across North America.

Dann holds an HBA degree with honors from Ivey Business School, as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He has also been named a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), the most senior credential awarded in the Canadian financial services industry.
Dann resides in Toronto with his wife and three vivacious children. Outside of work, Dann is an active community leader focused on supporting victims of spousal violence, and innovative children’s health.
