The purpose of the Initial Meeting is to get to know each other and see if there is a mutual fit between client and advisor. We will focus primarily on your story; You, your family, your values, and concerns and financial objectives- both business and personal. Topics will include your basic needs, goals, expectations, fears, financial history and current financial position.
You will be asked to complete a series of questionnaires that are essential in helping us to create your Wealth Management Roadmap that will ensure a sustainable future for your investments.
To assist us in understanding your priorities and in formulating both your financial plan and asset management plans, the Discovery Meeting is used to review major themes discussed during the Initial Meeting as well as questionnaires and surveys. Together, we review your current situation in more detail and make sure we have all relevant information available to us in drafting your financial strategy, including how involved you want to be in the investment process. This allows us to determine which asset management solution is suitable for you, your family and your business to reach your goals.
This is where the magic happens. Using the information gathered at the Initial and Discovery meetings, we outline and review your financial strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and create a financial action plan which includes an asset management plan demonstrating how we propose to invest your assets according to your time horizon, investment objectives and risk tolerance.
From there if both parties feel there is value in moving forward, you would commit as a client to formalize the relationship by signing some documentation to open applicable accounts, initiate asset transfers, and/or apply insurance solutions. A.C. Elder and Associates will be there every step of the way to answer any questions or concerns you may have about your plan.
90 Day Follow-Up
Here your wealth management action plan is discussed to help you get better familiarized with tools available to you to assist in your understanding of your asset management plan, and we can show you how your plan is tracking. Assistance on reading various statements and materials is provided, and as always, we will provide and insight or guidance needed to make sure you are comfortable with the plan we have outlined.
Regular Progress Meetings
Progress Meetings are the foundation for our ongoing consultative services. We schedule these meetings around your financial planning and asset management needs to provide us both with regular opportunities to discuss and review the status of your plans and portfolio. We also determine if any significant changes have occurred in your life that would necessitate an adjustment to your wealth management plan, and can review the Investment Policy Statement and Family Snapshot to see if there are any changes or further needs to be addressed.
