Craig works closely with his clients to ensure he understands their goals and help them achieve their financial objectives. Providing professional wealth management advice through financial planning first, then combining it with personalized insurance and investment solutions, he can be sure to meet your wealth management needs.


Craig believes strongly in continuing education to provide the best financial advice for his clients in a rapidly changing financial world.  After graduating from the University of Victoria with a BA in Political Science and History he attended Okanagan University College and attained a diploma in Financial Services.  After joining RBC Dominion Securities in 1998, he then attained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2000. Through the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) he has obtained the Financial Management Advisor (FMA) and Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designations. Those designations have lead to granting him the Fellowship of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designation. The FCSI designation is the hallmark of industry excellence and is awarded only to the most qualified individuals by the CSI's Academy of Fellows. To attain the FCSI designation, one must master advanced educational courses, have at least five years of experience in the financial services industry, and practice in accordance with the highest ethical standards.  To enhance his financial planning knowledge he has also attained the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation which is the hallmark of advanced Estate Planning as well as the Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) specializing in living benefits for individuals, business owners and professionals.  Craig has also attained the Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation to help clients with the transfer and management of wealth between generations. 


Away from the office Craig is actively involved in the community. He is the Past- President of the Medicine Hat Burns Club, the Cypress Club of Medicine Hat, the Medicine Hat Rugby Development Association and the Medicine Hat Sunrise Rotary Club.  He has participated on the Business Advisory Committee for Medicine Hat College and the Invest Medicine Hat Advisory Committee. 


His other passions include skiing, snowboarding, music, writing and travel. One of his life goals is to  "see as much of the world as humanly possible."  As a happily married father of twins he looks forward to his practice and family growing in Medicine Hat.
