Bruce Willms is a licensed financial planner holding a Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designation and a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation. He has been awarded the distinguished designation of Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and recently earned the title of Portfolio Manager, allowing him to manage discretionary portfolios for his clients.
Bruce obtained his Business Administration Diploma from the Saskatchewan Technical Institute in 1987. Since joining the RBC Financial Group in April of 1990, Bruce worked his way through the ranks of Personal Banking Representative, Loans Officer, Senior Loans Officer, and Assistant Branch Manager, gaining valuable financial and lending experience through his diverse background in personal, agriculture, independent business, corporate lending, and investments. He was the recipient of the prestigious Royal Bank Leo Award in 1995 for excellence in customer service. In July of 1996, Bruce moved to Moose Jaw with his wife Maria and two sons, Tyson and Brandon, to open the Moose Jaw office of RBC Dominion Securities.
Devoted to continuously expanding upon his knowledge of the industry, Bruce has completed numerous courses from both the Institute of Canadian Bankers and Canadian Securities Institute, and is a licensed Insurance Agent, able to provide various insurance solutions. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for Providence Place Foundation as well as RuBarb Productions Inc.
He enjoys spending time with his family, the arts, sports and volunteering with charities and non-profit organizations.
