Bruce Genoud obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta in 1980, after which he worked with the Alberta Vocational Centre in Lac La Biche.
In 1987, Bruce and his young family relocated to Edmonton, where he joined the investment firm Richardson Greenshields as an Investment Advisor. In 1993, after obtaining his license in securities, securities options and commodities futures, he was named Vice President. Bruce took on the challenging role of Assistant Manager in 1995 and was named Branch Manager in 1997, after Richardson Greenshields was acquired by RBC Dominion Securities Inc. Bruce decided to relinquish the challenges of management and return to his best-loved role of Investment Advisor in 2003. He has been licensed for both life and accident & sickness insurance since 1997, and obtained his Full Life license in 2004. In April 2013, he obtained his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation and is now licensed as a Portfolio Manager. Bruce is an avid golfer and hockey player.
