Brian Thompson has been in the financial services industry since 1994. During this time he has worked in all provinces across Atlantic Canada and has been providing extensive financial planning advice and investment management services to high net worth individuals, businesses, and organizations.

Brian was born in Halifax where he has resided most of his life. Currently Brian, his wife and their two children live in Dartmouth.

Brian is a graduate of Saint Mary’s University where he completed his Bachelor of Commerce Degree, with a major in Finance in 1992. Industry courses he has completed include: Investment Funds In Canada, The Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook, Engineering of a Trust, and The Professional Financial Planning Diploma. Brian’s professional designations are: The Personal Financial Planner (PFP), The Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and The Canadian Investment Manager (CIM). He is also licensed to provide Insurance in Nova Scotia.

Brian’s area of expertise encompasses investment management and financial planning. He works closely with his partners at RBC Financial Group providing a broad range of services, which include banking, cash management services, asset protection, and credit services.

Brian takes great pride in providing his clients with sound, unbiased, financial advice and service.
