Brian has over 30+ years of experience with RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and currently manages over $650 million in assets on behalf of his clients. He is a graduate of the Ivey School of Business Administration at the University of Western Ontario, 1983.

As Vice-President and Investment Advisor, Brian has been responsible for the tremendous growth of the practice since 1987. His single-minded approach to managing portfolios in a manner that is both conservative and straightforward has earned him the trust of many of the area's most successful individuals. He is consistently recognized by the firm as a member of its prestigious Chairman's Council. Brian and his wife Kaley have three children. He is an avid sports enthusiast and voracious reader.

Maryanne has been in the financial industry for more than 30 years, with over 25 years with RBC Dominion Securities. Maryanne assists Brian with advising clients and reviewing portfolios, as well as contacting clients on pending company mergers and acquisitions.

Through her extensive knowledge of tax and estate planning, she is able to help clients adjust to various life events such as the passing of a family member, consolidating finances upon marriage, receiving a substantial inheritance, or implementing a plan for charitable donations.  She is the first point of contact for such issues.

Sean has been with RBC Dominion Securities for 15+ years, first as a co-op student, followed by several summer internships before joining Brian's team full-time. 

Sean has earned the Financial Management Advisor (FMA) and Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designations, and is also a licensed Insurance Representative.

 

Sean is responsible for many daily administrative tasks, along with assisting Brian in reviewing portfolios and facilitating charitable donations for clients. 

He is an active participant in several local charity events, including the Gutsy Walk in support of Crohn's and Colitis Canada, and is also a co-founder of Dragon Boat Barrie. During the warmer months, Sean can be found out on the lake most nights coaching and paddling with various community dragon boat teams.

Cyndee joined RBC Dominion Securities in 1996, obtained her Canadian Securities Licence in 1999, and joined Brian's team in January 2000. With her 20 years of experience and dedication to delivering outstanding client service, she has developed an excellent rapport with clients and is able to effectively assist them with all their administrative needs.

Cyndee has two sons, Corey and Todd, and is an avid hockey fan. She is also involved in fundraising for the Canadian Breast Cancer Society.

Garry T. Bard, B.A. (Hons.), LL.B., TEP

Garry received his LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He has a B.A. (Honours) in Music (classical guitar) from University of Guelph.

Garry was called to the Ontario Bar in 1987. He has experience practicing estates law in private practice as well as with various financial institutions. Garry is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) as well as the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Garry’s legal experience spans over 35 years and his law practice focused on providing proactive planning advice to both individuals and businesses with estate and succession planning concerns.

Garry has been a resident of Simcoe County (Innisfil/Barrie) for over 25 years. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, he had been working as an Estate and Trust Consultant in Barrie for almost 10 years.
