Our inaugural Portraits with Santa event saw the community come together to celebrate the holiday season and support the Family Services of the North Shore Christmas Bureau.

What a special weekend connecting with our North Shore community while supporting a worthy cause! Eydt Wealth Partners hosted our inaugural Portraits with Santa event benefiting the Family Services North Shore Christmas Bureau.

For one merry afternoon, we transformed the Eydt Wealth Partners Office into Santa and Mrs. Claus’ North Pole. We hosted families and community members to an exclusive portrait with Santa. This was no shopping mall Santa photo horror show, this was a personalized premium portrait experience with no line-ups, delicious coffee & hot coco and tasty treats supplied by our awesome neighbour Tamera Clark of BjornBar. Of course, we had the classic Christmas tunes serenading us throughout the afternoon along with a cameo by The Grinch to get everyone in the holiday spirit.

Family Services of the North Shore is a non-profit, community-based agency who offer counselling, support, education, and volunteer engagement opportunities to help North Shore residents reach their full potential throughout life, whenever they are in need. The Christmas Bureau helps to ensure that low-income families and individuals can celebrate the season. To donate, follow this link Christmas Bureau Donation.

“The event was wonderfully organized and thoroughly captured the spirit of the season. We totally enjoyed it!” - SK

Through the RBC Communities Together Fund, RBC Global Asset Management and the generosity of the community who attended, we were able to raise over $3,000 along with a box full of toys for this worth cause.

We combined this event with our annual RBC North Shore Volunteer Day at the Family Services Christmas Bureau the next day. We had over 20 RBC’ers from all lines of business help get the Community Hub space ready to receive over 1,200 gift baskets earmarked for this years many needy recipients.
