From our Team

I look back on 2021 and can’t believe how quickly time has passed.  I’m sure most of us would not have predicted that Covid would still change our lives as we used to know it.  I feel fortunate to be in a situation that allows us to work remotely when needed and be flexible to deal with the ever changing landscape.  Many folks have not been quite so lucky.

Throughout the last year we slowly increased the number of staff working in the office and gradually increased client visits.  Our client interactions in office are still not like pre-Covid and many clients choose to conduct review meetings with us virtually, for their own personal safety or simply due to the convenience.  Virtual meetings are now going to be a normal part of business which is not something I would have predicted however; for several reasons these meetings will not completely replace in person meetings.  We continue to monitor and adjust, following the recommended guidelines put forward to us and we look forward to meeting with you again soon.

Just for Fun –  Bold predictions for 2022

  1. The Super Bowl is set to take place in LA but with Omicron rampant and restrictions in California the NFL is already planning a backup plan for Arlington, Texas.  I predict the Super Bowl will in fact be moved to Texas.
  2. The NHL is currently in a frenzy postponing several Canadian games.  Having canceled the Olympics this gives them a lot of time to reschedule games and finish up the season, maybe on schedule.  There are a lot of games left in the season but my bold prediction is this year’s Stanley Cup winning team to be Vegas Golden Knights.
  3. Rory McIlroy will win another major tournament in 2022.
