Happy Friday from Brenda Miller Family Wealth!

Welcome to our first newsletter for 2026! As we embark on 2026, our team is all hands-on deck to support your financial goals. Here’s what is on our mind this season:

In our Bi-Weekly Client Letter, I (Brenda) appreciate the reminder that despite the many geopolitical uncertainties, it’s important to maintain perspective, remembering that short-term volatility should not have a long-term impact on a quality portfolio diversified across sectors and countries.

I just returned from the discretionary conference, where I spent three days with some of our top analysts and economists preparing for the year ahead. Consensus is reduced interest rates in the U.S. with a possible move higher in Canada by year end.

Mid-term elections tend to drive the markets upward, although we don't think the trajectory will be a straight line. We are expecting a change in the Federal Reserve and the unpredictability of the US Leadership will undoubtedly create volatility... but volatility can create buying opportunities.
