Happy Friday from BMWM!
`Tis the season to give and receive, to live in peace and harmony, and to be grateful for family and friends. This will be Brenda Miller Wealth Management’s last newsletter for 2023 and we want to wish those who celebrate Christmas a Merry Christmas, Hanukkah a Happy Hannukah, Kwanzaa a Happy Kwanzaa, Yule a Happy Solstice, Saint Nicolas Day a Happy Saint Nicolas Day, and for Bodhi, a Happy Bodhi Day. If we are missing anyone, please educate us and we will include you next year!
BMWM has been going around the Bowmanville/Clarington area visiting and supporting local businesses. Earlier this week we were at the final Clarington Board of Trade event for 2023, and we have a photo where you can see all the very serious work we have been doing.

The Current Account (click here to read) covers U.S lawmakers passing a $866 billion defense bill, more Canadians being expected to leave the work force than enter it over the next few decades, the global revolution in (non-car) electric vehicles, and Gary Lamont receiving a five year sentence for being involved in art fraud.
Taylor’s word of the week is Penultimate, meaning “second to last”. As we enter the penultimate week of 2023, please be aware that this is the ultimate (“last”) newsletter of the year – you’ll hear from us again in 2024.
Have a Happy New Year,
Brenda, Betina, Taylor, and Matty
