Happy Friday from the BMWM Team!
We hope that you have been keeping well and had a chance to enjoy the lovely weather over the past week.
RBC has done an economic update this week, which you can read here.
If you would like to read more about the markets, please read the PAG Bi-Weekly Update, also available on our blog.
This week’s Current Account (click here to read) discusses the US effort to avoid a debt default, Canadian GDP surges, and Hamilton (the city) making efforts to become known for musicals.
Some of you may have noticed a new page on our website called the “Financial Literacy Program.” This page seeks to inform clients on the importance of building strong financial management practices for the younger generations. A guide that provides an outline of potential best practices by age group is included here.
Yesterday, we attended a seminar on AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ChatGPT, which we found very interesting. As a result, we’ve decided to ask ChatGPT to suggest what our work of the week should be, and it chose Caveat Emptor, meaning buyer beware. This term emphasizes the importance of conducting research, analyzing risk, and seeking professional advice when unsure of market conditions.
Have a great weekend,
Brenda, Betina, Taylor, Jacob and Matty
