One of the founding leaders of Ascendant Wealth Partners, Bruce is a senior portfolio manager with more than 30 years of investment market experience.

 
 

He advises affluent families on their financial affairs, designing and executing sophisticated strategies to help them achieve their unique definitions of success.

Bruce brings a great depth of experience to his role: He is a former Senior Managing Director and portfolio manager of a leading Canadian wealth management boutique, and has served as the Chief Executive Officer of two private Canadian wealth firms. As well, he has built and managed dedicated high-net-worth platforms for two of Canada’s largest financial institutions. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Bruce also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University.

Bruce gives back to initiatives that are important to him, including projects at organizations such as the United Jewish Appeal. He is passionate about education, funding merit scholarships for young men at the esteemed private school Upper Canada College, as well as public healthcare, giving of his time and money to Toronto General Hospital.

In his off hours, Bruce enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Lissy, his daughter, Chloe, and his sons, Kyle and Michael. He likes to keep his mind sharp through exercise, both outdoors and in the gym.
