As an Associate Advisor at Ascendant Wealth Partners of RBC Dominion Securities, Pakkin acts as a key point of contact for our clients, focusing on portfolio analysis and review, asset allocation and investment opportunity evaluation across traditional and alternative strategies. His responsibilities include active monitoring of portfolios to ensure client’s goals and objectives are in line, along with providing advice through a holistic view of the family’s wealth. Pakkin also contributes to firm-wide initiatives through the Asset Allocation Committee, where we meet weekly to evaluate the current economic landscape, and the positioning of our asset allocation mix through the various portfolio mandates.

Pakkin is an undergraduate of York University, and holds a Master of Finance at the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto). He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst “CFA” designation. Pakkin began his career at various large Canadian banks where he previously held multiple positions providing financial advice and client service. Committed to continuous professional growth, Pakkin has completed the Canadian Securities Course, Wealth Management Essentials, and Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course.

In his spare time, Pakkin travels around the world to experience different cultures and cuisines, exploring new trails and mountainous regions, and spending time with family and friends.
