Andrew provides all-encompassing investment and wealth planning to clients looking to preserve and build wealth over the long term. He takes a disciplined, conservative approach to investment management, prioritizing capital preservation as he guides you to achieving your goals.
As a licensed Portfolio Manager, Andrew is among the few advisors qualified to offer our premium level of advisor-managed portfolio service, Private Investment Management (PIM). With PIM, Andrew can make trades on your behalf, with your goals and risk tolerance in mind, freeing your time from day-to-day investment decisions. While working with a team of specialists at RBC Wealth Management, Andrew integrates a full suite of wealth planning solutions in insurance, Wills and estates and business succession.
With a wide range of credentials and a commitment to maintaining and surpassing the highest ethical standards, Andrew was recognized as a member of our prestigious Directors Council. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University, as well as several advanced industry designations like the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP), which is the gold standard in financial planning. To offer a wider range of investment solutions, Andrew completed his Derivatives Fundamentals and Options licensing and is qualified to incorporate options strategies into client portfolios. Finally, he has also achieved the highest honour in the Canadian investment industry, the Fellow of the Canadian Securities (FSCI) credential.
Andrew grew up playing football and hockey and was drafted by the Edmonton Elks (formerly known as the Edmonton Eskimos) in 2008. Andrew still enjoys an active lifestyle and can be found on the golf course in the summer time and on the squash court in the winter. He is married with three daughters.

With nearly a decade of experience in the financial industry, Jarrett has a passion for working closely with people to help them achieve their dreams. As an integral member of our wealth management team, he is actively involved in the management and oversight of your investments and the development of financial planning strategies.
Jarrett is known among our clients for his down-to-earth nature, and he takes pride in delivering knowledgeable and personable service while solving day-to-day challenges in our fast-paced industry. Prior to joining our team, Jarrett worked for six years with RBC Financial Planning.
A firm believer in ongoing education, Jarrett has a Bachelor of Arts with majors in economics, as well as a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in finance. He also holds the Financial Planner (PFP) designation.
Outside of the office, Jarrett enjoys spending time with his wife Rae and their two dogs. He can often be found outside, taking advantage of the many natural luxuries the Rocky Mountains have to offer, such as hiking, rock climbing, skiing and backpacking. Jarrett previously served as a treasurer for multiple not-for-profits and his community league for several years.
Wealth Associate
Helping clients reach their life goals, whether it is buying a house, retiring or travelling, is what Christine enjoys most about her work. She’s a skilled administrator with more than 20 years of experience in a range of industries, from IT to construction, and more than 10 years in financial services.
As an organized, detail-oriented professional, Christine has been an integral part of our team since 2019, overseeing the onboarding of new clients, answering client queries, distributing funds, and building administrative processes, among other responsibilities. Clients appreciate her quick turnaround, knowledgeable advising and, most of all, her genuine level of care.
Christine graduated from a private college in Sherbrooke (Quebec) in IT programming, and also completed the Certificate of Administrative Excellence from MacEwan University in 2017. She’s been a fully licensed assistant since 2013.
Originally from Quebec, Christine has called Edmonton home since 2009. Her community spirit has led her to volunteer on the board of directors of the Friends of the Edmonton Public Library since 2019, first as the treasurer, and currently as a director.

Iryna is a key member of the Andrew King Advisory Group, drawing on her considerable organizational skills to provide administrative and client service support. Iryna joined our team after 14 years of related financial industry experience. Her previous roles have given her strong customer service skills and an outstanding feel for clients' needs.
A graduate of Lviv Polytechnic National University in Ukraine, Iryna earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She also holds a Management Studies Diploma from Grant MacEwan University with. Iryna has successfully completed her Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practice Handbook Training, as well as Insurance License Course.
Outside of work, Iryna enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, travel and attending local arts and culture events.
Administrative Assistant
Gabriel is a recent graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance. A natural problem-solver, Gabriel brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to client service to his current role.
Drawing on his considerable organizational skills, he is responsible for client documentation, scheduling meetings and general administration. Clients and colleagues alike appreciate his diligence, genuine level of care, focus and determination in finding solutions for client needs.
Away from the office, Gabriel is an avid soccer fan, and enjoys exploring the outdoors by hiking and camping.
Yolanda provides thoughtful and efficient administrative support to our team and assists clients throughout the process. Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, she worked as a Banking Advisor at RBC Royal Bank, where she honed her client service skills.
A believer in ongoing education, Yolanda has completed the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC), Financial Planning 1 (FP1) and Personal Financial Services Advice (PFSA) courses from the Canadian Securities Institute. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Alberta.
In her spare time, Yolanda enjoys cooking, travelling and exploring new local cafés and restaurants. She is also fluent in Mandarin.
