Wealth Is What You Don't Spend

It is estimated that over 250,000 baby boomers are going to retire in Canada this year.  That's roughly the size of Saskatoon!  This trend is expected to continue for the next decade.  What's interesting, however, is that according to a recent bank survey, 32% of Canadians between the ages of 45 and 64 have nothing saved for retirement.  Do we have a retirement crisis looming?

For our part, we're trying to educate people to help them plan and prepare for this important life stage.  Given that saving money is the biggest issue people struggle with, we wanted to share an article on this topic written by award-winning personal finance columnist Morgan Housel.
