The ongoing energy crisis gripping Canada has sparked questions about the future of our energy sector.  There's no doubt that Canada is trying to strike a balance between doing what's right for our economy and livelihoods and doing what's right for the environment.  But does it have to be a binary choice?  Dave McKay, CEO of RBC, recently wrote, "Our country must address the energy sector’s competitiveness challenges, including regulatory and infrastructure roadblocks. At the same time, we need to ensure that money is reinvested wisely in technologies that reduce our collective carbon footprint and make Canadian energy the cleanest, safest and most efficient in the world."
