Motivated by a desire to help people achieve their financial goals, Alexandra turned her passion for financial planning into an award-winning career that’s lasted over 26 years. In 2000, she joined RBC Wealth Management as a Financial Planner, and transitioned to RBC Dominion Securities in 2009. In her current role, Alexandra is committed to equipping clients with a roadmap that outlines a proven, step-by-step process for achieving their financial goals. She creates wealth management strategies customized to each client’s unique needs and goals, and provides clarity and peace of mind to allow clients to enjoy their retirement. Alexandra helps business owners and professionals reclaim their time, develop a tax-efficient plan for retirement and ensure they won’t outlive their savings.
Her enthusiasm for sharing knowledge led Alexandra to create her Financial Bootcamp Series, educational workshops on financial literacy. She is also one of the founders of SWAG – Successful Women Achieving Goals, a community-based group of women dedicated to educating and empowering other women with the skills and confidence to make wise financial decisions.
A believer in lifelong learning, Alexandra graduated from the Wilfrid Laurier University Financial Planning program. She has also earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designations and has earned the Specialist of the Trust Institute (STI) diploma through the Canadian Securities Institute.
Away from work, Alexandra is an avid equestrian and spends most of her free time around horses, her two dogs Ariel & Diesel and her family. She is also passionate about giving back to her community. She has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, and for over ten years has been a member of Ladies in Philanthropy for Southlake (LiPS), which funds much-needed projects for the hospital.
