Christine’s first career was in retail, where she learned to uncover what clients are really looking for, and be the partner they need to find the right solution. So, while she joined our team as a newcomer to a complex industry, she quickly advanced the growth of our practice and the service level we could offer our clients.
Almost 10 years later, Christine remains an integral member of our team. Our clients know her best for her innate ability to build close relationships and be a trusted advocate for their best interests. But most of her work is behind the scenes, building a personalized wealth plan, managing all the moving parts, and coordinating with all the necessary financial specialists. “That’s the best part of the job,” Christine is known to say. “The goals our clients have are almost always achievable, but most of the time you can give them comfort by putting it down on paper. By saying, hey, look, you’re going to be okay.”
Christine almost always has a course on the go. In addition to her history degree from Augustana University, she has completed the Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook Course, Wealth Management Essentials Course, and Investment Management Techniques Course with the Canadian Securities Institute.
Christine grew up on her family’s mixed farm near Bonnyville, and now lives in Sylvan Lake with her husband and two daughters. She appreciates the slow pace of a small town, and fills her time outside of the office by reading, studying, and being with her family.
