Community Involvement
Through RBC Financial Group, its subsidiaries and the RBC Foundation, we are committed to donating at least one percent of our average annual net income before taxes, based on a five-year average. We donated $40,630,000 Worldwide this year alone.
RBC Foundation gives donations from $100 to pledges of $1 million and more.
Locally, as a long time fixture in the Belleville business community, RBC Dominion Securities has been an active community participant through a number of initiatives. In 2008, the Belleville branch donated $55,000 to local charities.
| Tennis for Cure We sponsored the RBC Dominion Securities "Tennis for Cure" tennis tournament held on August 5th at the Quinte Tennis Club. All the proceeds went to the Princess Margaret Hospital for Breast Cancer Research. |
