September brings a new start, a Federal Election and a conversation with Jim Allworth

The month of September often signals change for many people, with the beginning of fall and the feeling of a fresh start, it has often been referred to as 'the other January". Many of us sent our young and older children back to school a few weeks ago and are adjusting to the new routine. Janet sent her youngest off to the University of Guelph earlier this month. Although it's a big change, her daughter is doing well and is adjusting to her new home away from home and getting a taste of independence. Lauren and Taryn sent their little ones back to elementary and pre-school and with the past year and half of unpredictability, like many of us, they are welcoming back (or at least hoping for) a sense of normalcy.

If you are looking for some fun fall activities to do in the Hamilton region, whether it be exploring nature or trying out some new foods, this site provides an extensive list of things happening in the region. Fall can also bring about the desire to cozy up and stay indoors, although the weather forecast looks like the warmer temperatures might be sticking around for a few more weeks!
