We have two award winners on our team this year and wanted to share their accomplishments.
Taryn Ashby won the quarterly RBC Performance award for her outstanding client service. She was then recognized with a Bronze award at the end of year, elevating her into an esteemed group of colleagues from across the country for going above and beyond their required duties to make a difference in our client's lives. We are so grateful to have Taryn as a part of Hayes Vickers Private Wealth, supporting our clients!
Michelle Vickers was recently recognized at RBC's Women Symposium with the Jill Max award. This is a commemorative award that is presented to a woman from RBC Wealth Management Canada who has demonstrated excellence in Vision, Leadership, Courage, Contribution, Community and Legacy. Jill was the head of Fixed Income at RBC Dominion Securities before she passed away of Leukemia on July 27, 2012. David Agnew, CEO RBC Wealth Management Canada, in his speech said: "Michelle always goes out of her way to offer her time to others. For her, it's about doing what's right for our clients and for our firm. She consistently looks for ways to make our firm a better place for everyone to work and is a true champion for change". This year there were over 50 nominations and two other amazing women were recognized with Awards of Distinction. Natacha Savard and Kathy Fazel were highlighted for their ongoing initiative, leadership courage and dedication. Michelle and I have worked with Natacha Savard, Vice President & Head, Training and Practice Management, who was recognized for her dedication and leadership on several head office initiatives regarding our Associates. Natacha - whose work and dedication may never be seen first hand by our clients - has helped us build our team's skills, allowing us to deliver full wealth management services directly to our clients.

In appreciation for our clients and to celebrate the holidays we have made a donation to the Robb Nash Project. RBC Wealth Management has been supportive of Robb's work and I have been lucky enough to view first hand the impact that they are having on the communities they visit.
