Michel Roy began his career in the insurance industry in 1988. He has extensive experience helping clients protect their financial security, enhance their retirement income and increase their estate value using tax-exempt insurance solutions.
Working closely with Joelle, Michel employs a comprehensive process to assess your wealth management needs and then recommends either personal or corporate insurance solutions to help increase your net worth, reduce the impact of taxation and secure your wealth through a variety of life insurance, annuity, and living benefits solutions. To help you receive high-quality, cost-effective insurance solutions, Michel evaluates various insurance offerings from Canada’s top-ranked insurance providers.
He can also assist you in structuring your insurance contracts to ensure your wealth is transferred to your heirs in accordance with your wishes.
Jonah Rabinovitch, B.A., LL.B., CFP
Financial Planning Specialist
As a Financial Planning Specialist at RBC Wealth Management Services, Jonah's role is to work with and support us in preparing and presenting comprehensive Compass Financial Plans to clients.
Jonah attended the University of Ottawa where he completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2003, and Dalhousie University where he completed his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in 2006. Upon completion of his articling position, Jonah practiced law for four years in the areas of tax and estate planning and corporate law.
Jonah entered the financial services industry where he worked for four years as a financial planner with career sales force advisors completing comprehensive financial plans and acting as a resource for their high net worth clients.
He completed his CFP in 2013 and is a member of the Financial Planning Standards Council as well as the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Will & Estate Consultant
As our Estate Consultant, Joe works exclusively in the area of estate planning. Joe can provide advice on the most efficient and tax-effective strategies for the distribution of your estate. This culminates in a formal written plan, which provides direction to your lawyer for drafting your will and guiding you through the complexities of estate planning.
Joe’s background includes a law degree from the University of Western Ontario. He was called to the Bar in 1993 and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the County of Carleton Law Association, and the Ottawa Estate Planning Council.
Joe has been an instructor in Estate Law at the Bar Admission Course and has been an instructor at the University of Ottawa Law School teaching Wills and the Law of Succession since 2002.
All meetings with these extended team members are encouraged as joint meetings in an effort to remain on the same page and work together with your best interests in mind.
